Advancing Technology in Oxidative Technology

Antioxidants are substances that are naturally present in the body and some of the antioxidants could be obtained from the diet. The key role of antioxidants is to terminate the production free radicals which are responsible for the damage of cells. Antioxidants terminate the oxidation process that is the initiation process of free radical synthesis. Substances rich in antioxidants are vitamin c, vitamin E, glutathione and enzymes like catalase, superoxide dismutase perform the anti-oxidizing function. Free radicals are responsible for the death of the cells and so they cause aging of the body cells. As this action is prevented by antioxidants they are also known as anti-aging substances.

People of today are more concerned about maintaining their health and beauty and when it comes to the matter of aging, antioxidant is the first thing that strikes into the mind of those who are specializing in the field of cosmetology.
