Depression

When a person experiences a lot of negative happenings in his life which are repetitive and are intense then he/she would fall into the symptoms of depression. Depression is also thought to be caused by the change in the chemicals present in the brain along with some additional factors. It has to be given care and treated like any other medical disorder and it has no age limit. The common symptoms of a depressive person is that he is always seems to be very sad, a feeling of hopelessness or guilt predominates in him. They would also make an attempt to suicide. They may feel irritated, and suffer with either insomnia or excessive sleeping. Loss of interest is seen in each and everything they do. It could be diagnosed with the patients self experiences or by their relatives. If it is left untreated then it may cause serious effect on the patient and their surroundings.

There are numerous reasons like chemical, social and psychological, drug and alcohol factors for depression. Antidepressants, physical exercises, psychotherapy like meditation are given to treat the depressed patients.
